The panoramic communal bath on the 7th floor of the New Wing offers sweeping views of Mihonoseki Port, Miho Bay, the Chugoku Mountains, and majestic Mt. Daisen
Enjoy timeless scenery that changes from moment to moment.
Handrails are installed at every step, and high seats are always available.
Children's chairs and bath bucket sets are provided, so families with children can bathe with peace of mind.
Amenities such as lotion and moisturizing milk are also provided.
Day-trip bathingis also available.
A private open-air bath with spectacular views from 30 meters above the ground
The private open-air baths on the New Wing rooftop include two tubs, one of hinoki cypress and one of Oribe ware. Enjoy the superb setting of Miho Bay and Mt. Daisen spread out before you from 30 meters up, along with the liberating feel only an open-air bath can offer. Spend a luxurious moment gazing at the sunrise or sunset, a sky full of stars, or the moon glittering on the water at night.
*The private open-air baths require a fee and reservation. Each party may use them for up to 50 minutes.
The panoramic communal bath is also available for day-trip bathing.
Please stop by when visiting Mihonoseki for a day trip, fishing, swimming at the beach, or worshipping at Miho Shrine.
